Charity Walk for Mangalore Orphanage

 Halton YMCA Staff and Residents held a charity walk in aid of the Mangalore project. The walk took place on Friday 1st August 2008 from Widnes to Runcorn town centres.

The event was organised by Damien Caldwell and Carolynn Blythe who are members of the Halton YMCA residents committee.

The money raised will be used to provide much needed medical supplies, which will help improve the lives of the orphans.

The money raised so far including money collected during the walk and sponsorship received has to date topped £700 with more sponsorship money yet to be collected.
